Great Look, overall very nice. Ice maker the worse design ever.

We have really enjoyed our 25 cu in Samsung Fridge. Features are nice, overall good performance. The reason I wouldn't recommend this refrigerator is all based around the ice maker/dispenser. We purchased the 5 year all covering warranty (non manufacture warranty). We have had the repair out on 4 separate occasions, every time was due to the ice maker. The guy got to know us pretty well. He got paid so he was happy to keep coming out. After some discussion it seems as though the seal between ice making compartment and the fridge is poor, which allows air into the ice maker, which eventually builds and freezes on the walls and maker to the point that ice is blocked and won't make. Additionally, the seal where ice is dispensed is poor design. Every time ice dispenses, a good bit of water comes out first. Seems an ice cube or three make it to the refrigerated portion and melt. If the melted cube(s) doesn't come through the dispenser, it leaks on the floor when the left door is opened.
We just deal with it, but for the amount paid I'd like to wear and tear are the only signs of use.
Pros: looks nice, good amount of fridge/freezer space
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, ice maker beyond poor
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not worth the money

I bought this refrigerator 4 years ago. The ice maker stated acting up one month after the warranty ran out. It's given me nothing but trouble since. Now the bucket won't come out, so I have no ice at all. I will never buy another Samsung product.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality

Ice buildup will ruin your food

Do not buy this fridge.
This fridge has a design flaw where an ice build up will cause the fans to seize up and no cool air will blow into the fridge area. We have had to unplug our fridge 2 times in the last 2 months to clear the ice. At first it will start with a loud clicking noise and then it will go silent, that means the fan has stopped so no cool air is blowing. Thankfully we have a 2nd fridge to transfer our food to while we defrost this one. I HATE THIS FRIDGE.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Replaced a side-by-side door refrigerator with this Samsung french door style, so still adjusting to the new set-up. Otherwise, enjoying our new super-efficient Energy Star certified refrigerator with convenient water and ice dispenser.

Loving our new refrigerator!

We just installed our new refrigerator last Friday (4 days ago) -- we are loving it so far and have not had any issues. Seems like a great refrigerator -- still getting used to the shelving set up inside, though.

I love the looks of it in the black stainless steel. The freezer is very large and has lots of room. The fridge design is somewhat small due to the placement of the ice maker, but its workable.
I would recommend this to a friend!
