Trouble from Day One!

First, I have to say that I love the layout of the refrigerator. Big freezer on the bottom, plenty of drawer and shelf space. But the ice-maker has been a problem since day one! The cubes come out as small chunks all frosted over. I've had the repair guy here twice in the first year, and he did not fix the problem. Now water is leaking into the refrigerator and flooding the refrigerator floor and the crisper drawers. I have had to turn the water off completely, so no water and no ice. It is still leaking . . . Personally, I will not buy Samsung appliances again. Very disappointed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice refridgerator

Spacious, bright, accessible.
Crushed ice is small bits and mostly slightly diminished regular 'cubes'. Not much difference.
This unit needs to be 1/2 inch narrower. The salesman says it will fit into 36" (of course),
but all the world is not square or plumb. Some will be disappointed with the fit.
Needs a black (non-stainless) version
Cons: Too big

I love this fridge it has a lot of space I have 5 kids and we always have room for food in our fridge. It is truly amazing and I would so recommended this fridge.

A few days after install. Experience so far is good with install and follow up to a potential problem (but wasn't.). Can't give five stars because it is only a few days of use.

We were refrigerator shopping due to the final death of our previous frig and came across this beauty. We were looking at the same old white side by side dinosaurs but with the great Kitchen Package Deal we "upgraded" to the whole set for a new kitchen look! Two weeks in and we are loving the design, no finger print markings, and bottom freezer compartment. Only, downfall, is now we have to agree on a new kitchen paint color for our new look!

I would not recommend this product to anyone. I have had it for 2 years, only 2 years, and the ice machine has had to be repaired twice. I am in my third year and the ice machine is having the same issues and its leaking outside where it dispenses water and ice and inside down to the top of the freezer which freezes the ice. So I have ice inside my refrigerator on the top of my freezer. I am past the warranty so this time it will cost me to fix. I was a huge Samsung fan but I've learned my lesson with this refrigerator.
Pros: Realistic color, Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Design flaws

I have two complaints with this fridge. First off, when ice is dropped into the freezer drawer, once the bucket gets so full the ice falls out of the tray when opening the freezer and drops under the freezer drawer where it cant be reached. Secondly, the glass shelve does not remove from the plastic shelving to clean. My last refrigerator allowed this so the liquid and dirt that traps in the glass shelving can be cleaned. You would think with newer technology it would be beter. Very disappointing. I will sayit keeps things cold and pleased with it's efficency.
