This washer works well, cloths come out clean. The water hammer issue is real, installed arrestors and it took care of the problem. Also make sure your machine is level, it spins at high speed. Just hope we get many years of use.

works great so far (6 months) handles the clothes for our family of 6 children with one on the way with ease. only thing missing is a maid to keep it running while we homeschool the children :)

Energy savings great performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about a little over a month ago we are impressed with the energy savings in water and electricity. We have notice the performance on cleaning clothes. The variety of setting is outstanding for different fabrics.

This was supposed to have a balance load device. 8 of 10 times I wash my mattress pad it full of water. It also was supposed have such a great spin cycle that your laundry was supposed to come out almost dry. Sadly none of this is happening. I thought spending so much money would make a difference.
Lastly, the clothes do not seem like they get enough water to make them fresh and clean smelling. A top load seems to do a much better job.

We bought this in Jan, 2013. It needs the ball bearings replaced already. Did not last even 5 years. That makes for a very expensive washing machine.

Constant error of UE - uneven load

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Throughout my 4 year life cycle with this machine, I was frustrated with the constant error message UE. I followed manual instructions, verified machine to be installed properly and levelled - I redistributed the same loads over and over. Eventually after many tries, the machine continued to spin and I finally finished the wash. This UE issue made one load take hours to complete. I read many consumer reviews expressing the same UE issue. Since this model has been discontinued, I suspect LG fixed the problem by dropping this model.

Great features! Great washer

I bought this washer and matching dryer in Aug of '15. I absolutely love them both. There are many options and features. Love the steam clean for pillows and down comforters. I have had zero problems with either appliance.

I absolutely love this product. The size alone is something to brag about. I feel like I can do other things with my time instead of wash clothes, because this washer does more than the average washer. My husband loves the short cycle. The washer and dryer are very stylish. I have no complaints but only words of admiration for this and all of the LG product.
