Almost perfect, except for one design flaw

The machine is great. It handles delicates delicately, it cleans very large loads and spins them almost dry. It's a great machine, but... I have one nagging repeating, persistent problem with it. The power button stays depressed after a while, and the only way to start the machine is to spin the drum so it powers up. The way to fix this is simple (sort of). I had to take the front panel off, and take the switch out and simply push it back, then re-assemble the front panel. It takes about half an hour total, but it's sort of a pain. Two service techs have been over since I bought it 10 months ago for this problem, and I've fixed it myself two other times. Hopefully, the design team has a REPLACEMENT front panel switch that has more clearance around the button so that it doesn't get stuck and allows it to 'turn off' more easily. It seems like it's an incredibly easy design fix. Other than that, it's the best washer I'd ever owned. Great machine.

This is the best washer ever!!! It pretty much does all the work and thinking for you. Just fill it up set the dial and push go and it senses the size of the load, determines the water temp, wash time everything!!! It also fits everything. I fit my King comforter easily. I am sure I can add the sheets too, but I just haven't done that yet!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Our previous washer would not spin out the clothes very well and often would cause us to constantly re-spin the clothes or to have them sit in the dryer a long time. This product spins the water out great! Drying time is very reasonable. I also love the tune it plays at the end of the cycle, so much better than a buzzer.

Best Washer Ever

We've had this washer for about 2 months and absolutely love it. This is the best washer I've ever owned. It uses less water and washing time is a lot less than my old washer. It spins the clothes out almost dry. It doesn't go off balance like my old washer when you wash large loads. We liked it so much we bought the matching dryer and the dryer has cut our drying time in half. Best products ever. I would recommend LG to everyone.

Amazing Washing Machine

First of all it looks great. The capacity is amazing. No need to wash as often. The choices for selecting different load types is nice. I love being able to stop the cycle and open the door to add items. So gentle on fabrics – even a hand wash selection. Washed a puffy king-sized comforter and it came out great. So nice not to have to go out to the cleaners anymore.

I purchased this item in Sept. of 2013 and would highly recommend this item to anyone. It is high quality and very stylish. It has a lot of features and they are easy to use. The capacity is also awesome. I wash our comforters with ease. I am very pleased with this purchase. I can honestly say - Lifes Good :)
