I love to do laundry....now

I had searched for the best product before we moved and finally found this washer. Me and my husband are both in the military so we needed something that was big enough for our uniforms and our equipment. We got this washer and couldn't have been happier. I love doing laundry now.

This is our first front load washer. The machine does everything we could hope for. Uses less water and does a great job. The only complaint I have it, its noisy. When its filling it sounds like some one is pounding on the walls. I called and asked about this, and they said turn the water over half off???? I tried this, and it cut down on the noise, but took a lot longer to fill. I guess we are going to live with the noise because it does a nice job.

This washer is quiet, thorough, very easy to use. It could be improved by lighting the option category. Water temp, spin speed, etc.. Probably easy to read on a pedastal.

Machine is leaking after only 8 months use

This machine was very expensive and expectations high for its performance, however, it has begun to leak and this customer so far is not very impressed.

This is a good quality large capacity washer with lots of features. It has many more features and settings that I normally use. Overall good performance but expensive for a clothes washer.

High-Efficiency Washers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Understandably High-Efficiency (HE) Front Load Washers are different than the older models. BUT the older traditional agitator models actually wash the clothes thoroughly rather than the new release of High-Efficiency washers. It leaves my clothes damp (even dry at times) and unwashed, stains are very difficult to remove/disappear. The rubber rim of the front loader also accumulates mildew and begins to create a foul smell after an amount of washes, not to mention one wash load takes ONE ENTIRE hour of wash time. With that said, I do not recommend the High-Efficiency front load or top load washers.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After 6 months of use, it started to smell moldy. I guess water get under the seal in the door. Now we spend all our time cleaning it. I will never purchase a LG product again!

Leaving clothes with a Strange smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whenever we select cold water to wash our clothes come out hot and stink! Not a moldy smell but a gross & strange smell! We have tried tried different cycles, used best smelling products out there and no matter what our clothes come out smelling. It's only when we select cold water and they come out hot, they shrink and stink! It's horrible. We had a previews front load for 13 years that wasn't as high quality machine but never had any issues. Please help!
