This product cleans and rinses extremely well

I was very impressed with cleaning and rinsing. Have not had to do additional cycles to rinse with this machine. Very happy and would recommend this product to my family.

I've owned frontload machines before. I bought this as an upgrade because of the size and features. This is by far the best washer I've ever used or owned; well worth the money. For years I've had to pack my large blankets and comforters and use the industrial sized machines at the Laundromat--no more! This machine easily handles large family size loads. It also has a feature where it calculates the size of each load so that you can also wash smaller loads. This machine is actually exciting to use because when you push the button to begin programming it lights up and feels like you're operating a Space-Age invention--which it actually is.
This machine is easy to operate and my laundry comes out extremely clean every time. It was the only machine of this size I found that has a cycle to leave my laundry Allergy Free. I highly recommend this machine.

I had an LG washer and dryer and was crushed when we sold our home and the purchasers wanted us to leave our LG Steam washer and dryer. Before I was even out of the house I had purchased my LG replacements. Little did I know they have a few more features and larger capacity. I love this washer and dryer even more than the previous. There are no wasted settings, I use all of them. The turbo setting is wonderful when I am short on time. The capacity of loads is larger and it still does a great job, just as clean as my previous 4. something capacity. I can use hand wash and delicate settings, the steam feature can be added to several different settings. The family has had far fewer problems with allergies and I credit this to the 6+ years of using LG steam settings on the washer. Embrace the settings and your laundry will look its best and last longer.

Our second front loader after a Sears Elite washer we had for 10 years. This LG is faster, quieter and has many more features. A really terrific machine.

Take my advice, get the best!

Well let me start by saying I owned and used this washer very hard for the past 4 months. I ran it through the tests, quilts, sheets, comforters, regular wash and even the destroyed construction work clothes, and let me tell you. As long as you read the manual and follow the proper procedures and proper detergent in the correct amount, this washer will exceed your expectations. No more need to use more soap for the very dirty clothes. Less is more in this washer! don't overload it by shoving stuff inside, just toss it in, when it looks full, its full! I have nothing but praise for this machine! I am just a regular Joe and I bought this machine because consumer reports had good reviews for it. Haven't had a problem with it yet! Smartest choice I've made for the year!!! I use Gain powder detergent with the addition of a very small amount of powder oxi-clean for the really dirty stuff. Also for the bulky items, 1 extra rince will do for the total removal of all soap, and remember try and use less soap, I use about 1/2 cup and always does the trick!

Bought this machine 6-11-14. Now the washer will not spin and rinse with 5 towels and 3 shirts in the load. Tech replaced the 3 shocks on the tub. Still will not complete a cycle unless the load is very small.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
