Good LARGE capacity machine cleans GREAT!

Looking for a large capacity washer and we selected LG. normally I prefer to buy US made but the support policy was better with LG so we took a flyer. So far so good. Clothes come out very clean, high speed spin wrings out more water and allows faster drying saving energy. Plus in CA PG&E and local water company give rebates which helped in purchase price.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Quality

Wow! This washer is the very best! I love that I can wash a load of laundry in 20 minutes. We are a family of six. My husband is over six feet tall and my son's are almost there. Well, washing all their jeans in one load is like heaven. Before I had this washer, washing all the families jeans from one week took three to four loads. Now, I can wash everyone's jeans in ONE LOAD and in half the time. Simply amazing! I love saving on detergent, water and electricity. Thank you LG for making fabulous products!

This washer and dryer were carefully chosen for quality. We have owned 5 other front load washers and thought we were educated shoppers. We like the energy saving features, use of less water and soap. The dials are easy to use and understand. The load sensor is a better judge of the load than I might be. The clothes come out of the washer dry and that makes the dryer even more efficient.Our bright red washer and dryer on their pedistals make our laundry room cheerful and doing the laundry not a chore.

My Cool New Washer

I love the size and versatility of my new 5.1 cu.ft. Mega Capacity TurboWash™ Washer. It is very good at adjusting the needed for the wash based on the size of the load. Some loads take a very short time to do. It will do very large loads easily. With a family of 10, it's a great addition to our house.

Absolutely the best washer I have ever owned. I have a large family and we can finally do laundry in one day! Simply amazing the speed of this unit. Love the Cold Wash and Turbowash features. Our clothes are cleaner and more soft after washing now.

Great features, great load capacity

I love this washer. After getting use to the long wait times for washing clothes. The clothes come out smelling clean so I know they are clean. Only a couple of things I would change and that is on the display all of the display should light up so you can see what the items are. It is hard to see unless you have a light shining directly on the washing features. Need a lock to hold the door open a bit after washing so the washer can dry out. I find leaving the door cracked a bit so the washer drys out eliminates the smell. The detergent drawer could be a little lower, because for shorter people when you have the drawer on the bottom it is hard to add the detergent and rinse to the washer. Other than that I love the washer. The large bucket makes it easy to wash comforters and blankets without a problem. I would recommend it to anyone.
