Everything I had hoped for and MORE!!!!

I enjoy doing laundry with this machine. I can fit a full size comforter and sheets in this massive machine. It is quite and leaves clothes incredibly clean. Tough stains are no problem with this machine.

Does What It Says It Will Do!

I own a vacation rental that I run myself (i.e...I wash all the linens 3 bathrooms (14 towels), 4 bedrooms with 7 beds (7 sheets SETS). This means that I have more than twice as much laundry to to do as a "normal" person/family. During the summer it is not unusual for me to do at least 6 ginormous loads of laundry per week. This machine has cut down my laundry time by at least half. What use to take me an entire day just washing the clothes (not even drying the clothes)...I'm now down to 3 large loads (washed and dried before noon). This machine IS the tool of my trade and is worth every expensive penny!! The little song at the end of the load is cute too...makes you look forward to the cycle ending. I cannot say one thing bad about this machine. Well done LG...well done.

Because of the larger capacity, I have been able to wash my comforters and blankets without having to use a dry cleaner. I also end up having to do my wash less times per week.

This washer is very good and quiet

This steam washer is excellent but LG should pay attention to 2 points.
1) The extra stainless steel hose connection that the retailers push to additionally buy is definitely NOT necessary , because it makes a Hammering banging noise when the water enters the drum. The rubber hose connection that comes with the machine is all that is needed.
2) The font on the dash is way TOO LIGHTLY PRINTED AND THIN. Good thing we purchased the White machine instead of the Stainless Steel one. We still have to use a flashlight to view cycle selections !
Also, the Drum is so large , that we need a flashlight to make sure that it is empty. But interior size is great for KING SIZE comforters, etc.

my laundry time has been cut down

I had a set of old top loading washer and dryer. It use to take me ALL day to do laundry. Ever since I bought my lg washer and dryer, I have a lot more time to do other stuff on a busy stay-at-home's list. I no longer have to pick load size, even check to see if my clothes are dried. It can sense it all.
Additionally, I'm saving money by not having to take my pillows, king comforters and bulky items to have it washed due to the size.
The only inconvenience I'm experiencing is the spinning cycle; if the washer isn't stuffed tight, it can become off balanced and not spin properly.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use

Love my new Upgrade

I have only had my new washer less than a week and Love it. I had gotten a weeks worth of laundry done for a family of four in less than one day. (usually took me two or three) I can't believe how many options I have now. I have used many of the options already and so far no issues. I will update my review if I do run into any issues, but for now I'm loving my new washer.

Very happy with my washer and dryer. Purchased this set over 2 years ago and haven't had any problems. It is sooooo quiet every time I hear someone else's washer I thank heaven mine is so quiet. I've definitely been spoiled by how nice this set is. I do a lot of laundry including pet bedding for my 3 dogs. Maintenance is easy and so far my washer is still like new. Handles California king comforters no problem. I like the different settings - bright whites is great and the customization options are great. Clothes come out clean. Can't really say it gets tough stains out any better than I'm used to but I'm not good at pre-treating and such so? Overall I would definitely buy this set again.

Washer that doesn't smell!

I have gone through 2 whirlpool front load washer in 10 years. It always end up smelly after a year despite me running the cleaning with the affresh on a monthly basis since brand new. And to clean the drain filter on it is a pain in the behind.
The LG is simple, to clean. The lid is right there you don't have to unscrew anything. The capacity on it is huge and best of all it cleans the clothes that washer are suppose to do.
