[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to these machines and they have been a disappointment other than that they are quiet.
First - the lights go out too quickly so you can't see inside to remove clothes.
Second - The clothes especially workout clothes soaked with sweat time and again do not come out clean smelling. Even clothes that are lightly soiled often don't smell fresh. I keep looking for the perfect cycle to wash items that will give the results I want. Towels have been a big challenge to wash and stay clean smelling even after a couple of uses. If there was an odor to begin with it seems to come back right away.

Third, the panel lights are really hard to read. The design really needs work as the lighting has to be just right or you have to keep moving around to see settings.
I also think you should be entitled to use or change settings if you want to for desired temperature.
Overall, while my old machines were VERY OLD the cleaned the clothes much better!

Great machine, quite and does a nice job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had another washer in which was bought new (a competitor's brand), and the main drum bearing started going out just after 3 years, (than goodness for extended service plans) refunded full price. Ordered the LG WM8000HWA after a long look around. Delivered and I installed it no problem. Read manual and then did a load of clothes. Have had no issues with this unit, does a fine job, nice and quite too. Clothes have come out clean and fresh and almost dry. Less time in dryer.

Biggest Washer I have seen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG continues to shine with its dryer and in this case, the Washer! This thing is BIG... almost too big, and works well.
Only reason for 4 of 5 stars, is this (and the dryer) are needlessly too complicated, as there are about 20 settings for drying and washing. That is probably a bit overkill in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this one last month. It's huge washer. There are a few options to washing clothes. Clothes came out nice and clean. I used to wash clothes 2-3 times a week, but with this washer, I need to wash clothes just once a week. Perfect!
