I got this for Christmas and while that might not seem like a great present when it cuts the number of loads, reduces detergent and clothes get clean with less shout its the best present ever. Very happy mom of twin boys.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was hesitant on buying a front loader from all the horror stories from leaks to mold and smell. Let me tell you if you follow directions, not one of these problems are of any concern with this gem! Washes clothes and sheets and huge comforters like a champ!! Love the steam option for certain items! Crazzzzy spin speed almost dries items before dryer! Most advanced washer we have ever had! Love how it adjusts load if spin is off balance automatically. First couple of washes I just watched in amazement how this thing is operating (first front loader) Weird how water intermittently fills instead of a consistent flow until full but I am sure there is a reason. 2 years old and still running strong! Hard to say these days! Love the many settings, didn't think we would use them all but we sure do! Worth every penny!

We bought this in Jan, 2013. It needs the ball bearings replaced already. Did not last even 5 years. That makes for a very expensive washing machine.

Constant error of UE - uneven load

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Throughout my 4 year life cycle with this machine, I was frustrated with the constant error message UE. I followed manual instructions, verified machine to be installed properly and levelled - I redistributed the same loads over and over. Eventually after many tries, the machine continued to spin and I finally finished the wash. This UE issue made one load take hours to complete. I read many consumer reviews expressing the same UE issue. Since this model has been discontinued, I suspect LG fixed the problem by dropping this model.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We purchased the washer and dryer combo set with the pedestals about a month ago and we love it. The capacity is unreal and the settings for taking out tough grease out of my work clothes as a mechanic, yet gentle enough for my newborn daughter's clothes work great!

This is by far the most easy and efficient machine at washing anything including all colors and fabrics in the same load using the tap cold feature. Everything including very large loads comes out the cleanest we have seen since our very first washing machine.
It makes washing clothes the simplest activity in the house.
Doing a complete king comforter set saves us a fortune compared to an outside commercial laundry and just as clean.
You name it and this machine can handle it.
