This fridge is great. Looks good an very nice features. We love that the ice maker is in the door so it does not take up extra shelf space. It's all good.

Overall very nice, a couple of small problems

This fridge is overall very nice to look at and has plenty of room for storing food in the fridge and freezer. Keeps veggies and fruit fresher longer and the inside light is really cool. Our biggest complaint is the ice maker. It's obvious by looking at it that it's much smaller than a traditional ice maker, and we struggle to keep ice on hand even with just our family of 3. My husband and I fill up our Camelbak water bottles a lot during the day, so maybe we just use more ice than the average person?! It's nice that there is an ice bin in the freezer-we plan to make ice in our old fridge that we put in the basement for backup- but it kinda stinks that we have to do that. My other complaint is when I put anything (for example a carton of eggs) on the left side of the bottom shelf in the fridge, it gets frozen/ ice crystals on it! Not sure if it's because it's close to the vent or if something is wrong, but it's annoying not to be able to use that space in the fridge for fear of my eggs exploding.

I needed a new and bigger fridge. I wanted a French door one. Love the LG products. Researched and LG came out on top as usual. This is the one that fit our needs and space. It is perfect for us. I was so happy when we hosted our Family Christmas party and I had room for everything to be put in the refrigerator and I did not have to get cooler and ice and try to find room for everything. I have been married 38 years and this was a first. Needless to said I was so happy.

beautifully elegant with curved handles and a seemless quiet glide on bottom doors. top doors sound a gentle alarm when left open. great feature for families with young children. we love the reachable center drawer for the childrens own juice boxes and goodies. and we can switch it out with party platters when needed. the ice maker is fantastic for its whole or crushed ice feature. This LG is attractive, family friendly, fun and easy to care for.

Problems from day one with this unit! Leaks are common from the indoor ice-maker, plus it doesn't produce ice in the ice bin because it does sense that the ice is ready to be dumped. I have reset this unit time again to no avail. Purchased on 11/27/2013. Very dis-appointed with this unit! LG is supposed to be #1 I was told by several salesmen.

Bought the refrigerator before Christmas. Love all the space it provided. During the holidays we entertain alot and this refrigerator had plenty of space provided for all the extra food. We have always bought Maytag products but I love this refrigerator. I also love the fact the ice maker is in the door instead of in the refrigerator which gives plenty of space. Also love the shelf that slides back to make room for tall bottles/milk/wine bottles etc. The slide and glide drawer is also very spacious. Highly recommended.

Great Refrig.

We are so pleased with our new LG refrigerator. It's compact in size outside with huge interior space. Everything is laid out perfect so everything is easy to reach. In comparison to our old one, this unit is very quite. Ice maker works great. Couldn't ask for better. We are very glad we choose this one.

This product has everything I wanted

We gutted our kitchen and started from scratch. I researched all the options available and spent a lot of time at the appliance stores. I fell in love with the LFX28968ST! I appreciate the ease in opening the freezer door-a slight lift of the handle and it's open! The arrangement of the freezer sections is wonderful.
The upper fridge has various configuration options and is very easy to clean. The fridge/freezer looks spectacular in my new kitchen and I know I will enjoy using it for many years!
