Great fridge/freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s so easy to use and operate that my 2 year old can get whatever he needs. ;) The freezer could use something else, possibly a second sliding drawer or more dividers. I’m not sure what would boost it to 5 stars for me. We loved that the ice maker is in the door, not taking up room in the top of the fridge.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, easy to use

Beautiful, smooth door operation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plenty of space, seem to be very well made. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the temp inside does not match what the thermostat says it is on the door. It is off by almost 10 degrees. I have called LG and they say I have the air flow blocked but no matter how I arrange things it is still off. It does keep things cold but for the price you would think that would not be an issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] On an overall basis, the unit has met my expectations for cooling performance. However, there have been a number of issues I have experienced. I purchased this LG hoping for better reliability versus the previous refrigerators I had purchased. Within the first 90 days, the unit developed a harmonic buzz when the compressor runs. At around 180 days from purchase, the ice maker failed and required replacement. Within the past 10 days, the water dispenser has become intermittent. Also the freezer drawer has developed a loud roller squeak.
Pros: Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are so please not only with the value that we received for but for the efficiency and excellent quality this refrigerator is bringing to our family.
We all are amazed at the lighting in this fridge and the ease in control of temp and movement of shelf space.
This fridge also has a great look and appeal and easily cleaned up.
I would highly recommend this to any one looking for a french door refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The form, features and ergonomics of this appliance are all top notch. The space inside and the orientation of the shelves is perfect. With that said, the noise the compressor makes during the cooling period of the appliance almost ruins it. After opening the freezer drawer or front refrigerator doors the compressor starts to recool the interior based on the thermostat's setting. This is a known activity the refrigerator performs. The 1 year warranty lapsed and I can't get it serviced without spending money on scheduling a services call without knowing if they can fix it or not.
