Great value, no issues with ice maker, door shelve

This refrigerator is much larger than my old 'top freezer' model. My first LG refrigerator. I have seen several reviews that the ice maker clogs up due to ice melting in the maker but I have not had any of these problems. It is a smaller cube and smaller maker than I had previsously but I plan ahead and transfer my ice to the lower freezer when the maker gets full. I love the space in the bottom freezer and the movable divider in the bottom. The refrigerated top section leaves more to be desired. Even with the slidable shelf on the right, there is not enough room for milk, juice bottles, 2 liter soda and other tall items. The holders on the door do not have enough options for movement to make more room for tall items as there are not enough 'clips' to adjust shelf height on the door. Also, the lowest shelf on the right door is narrower to accomodate the slide out drawers. The left door has very narrow to accomodate the ice maker but it is handy for water bottles, seasoning packets and other small miscellaneous items. The quality of the refrigerator is excellent and I would purchase an LG again. I would only suggest making the movable door bins with more options for movement to accomodate larger items.

Excellent Product!

We are really enjoyning our new refrigerator. It fits perfectly in a small space, hold a large amount of food in both the refrigerator and freezer sections, and the in-door ice-maker really saves shelf space. We had a little problem with condensation forming around the ice/water dispenser that was caused by a faulty flapper. The technician that came out to fix it was knowledgable and courteous and took care of the problem.

Love this refrigerator thus far, I've had this refrigerator a little over a month and love it. The slim icemaker give me more room on the inside for food storage, than a large bulky icemaker that hangs in the food section. Extra ice can be made and stored in the freezer if needed. One thing I would like to see is a more divided area in the freezer so food could be a little more organized, other than just plopped in randomly... But other than that I LOVE IT>

Great refrigerator

Were this just for my wife and I, it would be perfect. The kids place a challenge on the ice maker. Ice cubes, small, capacity a bit on the light side for me but other than that, excellent product.

A lot of room

Came home to find my old side by side was no longer working. Wasn't sure if I would like the French Door refrigerators, but the reviews on this refrigerator were good. I'm glad for those reviews, I love my refrigerator. It offers a lot of room and has great features. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking.

The ice maker in the door gives a lot more room than other options. The ice maker capacity is a little small. We empty the ice into the freezer bin when company is planned.
The freezer could use another drawer layer to make it easier to find items than piling most things together.
We find we could have used additional fruit & veggie bin space. We have been putting our excess produce in the bottom refrigerator wide drawer.
The lights are excellent and energy efficient.

Great Refrigerator

I have owned this French door refrigerator for a month now and could not be more pleased. I love that I can see everything and organize all the food so easily. The ice maker is quiet and always full and the extra bin in the freezer for ice makes sure that when I have guests I do not run out of ice. The one feature that I miss is a butter shelf with a cover.
