I LOVE ALL THE ROOM IT HAS

I REALLY LOVE THIS FRIG. IT LOOKS GOOD AND IT KEEPS THINGS AT THE RIGHT TEMPS. THE ONLY THING THAT SURPRISED ME WAS I HAD IT 2 MONTHS ONLY AND HAD TO BUY A NEW FILTER WHICH IS HIGH IN PRICE AND I THOUGHT SOMETHING WAS WRONG TO HAVE TO HAVE A NEW FILTER THAT FAST. WE ONLY USE THE WATER FOR TEA AND DRINKING WATER. THERE IS ONLY 2 OF US HERE. I DO NOT COOK WITH FILTER WATER SO I HAD TO BUY A NEW FILTER AND IT NOW RUNS FAST AGAIN. BUT IF I HAVE TO BUY A NEW FILTER EVERY 2 MONTHS I WILL JUST NOT USE THE WATER BECAUSE I LIVE ON SOCIAL SECURITY AND I CANNOT AFFORD TO BUY A NEW FILTER EVERY 2 MONTHS WHEN WE DO NOT USE THAT MUCH OF THE WATER. BUT OTHER THEN THAT I LOVE THIS FRIG.

Large capacity and smart compartment design

We love our new LG refrigerator because there is so much space... The compartment design allows sufficient room for varyng sized containers, from pies plates and wide bowls to tall bottles and carafes,etc. The pull out drawer is ideal for larger prepared party trays or sheet cakes. Initially we were apprehensive about the bottom drawer freezer, however this too creates a larger capacity for frozen food items and the easy closing doors and open door alarm finish it off nicely.
Pros: Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings

I own the LFX28968ST - OH THE NOISE

I like the fridge, it works as it supposed to, but the rattling that comes from this thing.. I can move it and the rattling noise stops, starts up on it owns. it's really becoming annoying. The side binds in the doors, the plastic of the doors with glass jars, rattle. It sounds like a rattling is also coming from the lower freezer area, it's like something on this unit is loose.
PS: the wife hates the ice maker, the ice bucket freezes up and no ice will come out. Freezer set to zero
I have a warranty on the LG, I guess it's time to use it..

Ice Maker is bad design. Repeatedly malfunctions.

The ice maker on the first one we bought would refuse to dispense ice intermittently. The dispenser motor would not run - nothing would happen when the ice button was pushed. The whole refrigerator was replaced with a new one. It has the same problem. A service technician came out and could not determine the problem. I am currently videoing the malfunction to document the problem and decide on our next course of action.

MAKES LOUD BANGING NOISES WHICH CANT BE FIXED !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as 3 weeks after delivery of this refrigerator it started making banging noises........LOUD noises ! Had repairman out 4 times and they cannot fix the problem.....so I'm stuck with it as they said even if I order the same refrigerator again, the noises could be in that one as well !

Continuous Problems

Unit would not get up to temperature, after about 4 months of jerking around it just starting working after replacing the processor board. The last thing, about a month ago the ice maker quit, a thermistor problem, had to replace the whole ice maker & the frig isn't even a year old. This is the very short version & am limited by your "writing guidelines" but you get the idea. Bought the frig because I thought LG was top quality & my experience was a huge disappointment.

Ice maker problems continue

We bought this refrigerator a little over a year ago. I couldn't wait for my old fridge to go so that I could get a french door fridge. We have been replacing all our appliances with LG, so getting an LG french door fridge with good reviews, was a no brainer. We had problems with the ice maker from the beginning and shortly after purchasing, it was replaced. Still have the same problem on an almost daily basis. Chute constantly jams and we have to dump the ice in the bin and clear the chute which makes a water mess everywhere. Hate fighting for ice every day! I'm so disappointed and totally frustrated with this product.
