Icing on the Cake

This refrigerator replaced a side by side that was 12 years old. The new refrigerator is so wide and deep but you literally can see ever sq. inch of shelf. Ice maker is just right for everyday. Parties will need you to either buy or make ahead of time and store. Pretty quite, sound never interrupts anything. Freezer holds more than you think because it is "bunker style" so some sorting is in order. We love this guy and a 10 year warranty was icing on the cake.

Only one issue the leveling legs

When we were adjusting the leveling it seems that the metal that is part of the refrigerator cabinet is very thin. It could not withstand the adjustment and the screw leg stripped out on the refrigerator cabinet. We are using a 3/8" 4"x6" piece of plywood under the stripped out leg. Not sure yet but I think this is causing a very load buzzing sound when the refrigerator is running. Using the Live Chat we have another Service Tech coming out to see if this is the issue for the noise. Once this is addressed I will completely love this refrigerator. LG I would recommend making that metal piece thicker and the adjustment leg longer.

Replaced our older side by side because no room, now this French door model has tons of space. The freezer has a slide shelf and the lower drawer has room to lie pizza's flat, unheard of with the side by side. Love the ice maker in the door, make great ice with the filter system and fast also. All in all great LG product, recommend for all.

I actually thought a french door fridge would have less room than my old side by side, but with the same cubic inches it actually holds much more! So easy to access everything and much easier to organize. It's just what we needed! Highly recommended!

Moving up from a 1994 vintage side by side to this is a big leap and the LG seems to be very nice, plenty of room, fairly quiet (the only buzzing sound is from the many glass jars placed on the door racks, LG needs to figure out some soft rim materials to help deaden the buzzing that can occur with items placed on door racks. Also it seems as though the top light lens buzzes some time).. other than that, we like it. Actually it is very quiet. Ice maker and water dispenser work great. nice piece..

Refrigerator has plenty of room

This is the largest refrigerator I've owned. It has plenty of room and the bottom freezer has a lot of storage space. I really like how bright it is and the LED feature. My most favorite feature is having crushed ice whenever desired. Nice product and worth the money.
