The door shelves all cracked

I’ve purchased this model over 3 years ago and I must say I’m very disappointed. I have had the service on the leaking ice maker valve and 3 not 1 not 2 but all THREE door SHELVES crack and fall apart on me one after another within 2 months. I have purchased extended warranty for this fridge yet I was informed the shelves do not fall under the warranty and I must replace them out of pocket. This will be my last purchase from LG!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Shelve do not hold LG will not take care of it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a brand new LG refrigerator and the shelves were not right. They do not clip in in the back and you cannot put food on them or they fall out. I called LG and it has been going on for months now. Lost all the food in it during this mess. had to replace all the food. They keep asking for my receipt different ways. They say the date is not on it so I highlight date and resend. They say model number is not on it so I highlight model number and resend. They keep making up reasons to deny my claim. saying invalid receipt. They have copies of my payment, my receipt, everything they ask for. Who would falsify needing fridge shelves. I do not need to stock pile fridge shelves just want mine to work. No matter what I send they will not accept it. The place I bought my fridge has printed the receipt in every format they can and it has all the information they ask for.
Do not buy an LG refrigerator or any other LG product. Worst customer service I have ever had. We spent a lot of money to have a nice fridge and cannot even put our food in the fridge with our propping the shelves up with cups. Nice Job LG. I show my shelves to everyone that comes over.
Worst company I have ever had to deal with. Please do not ever deal with them.

Came with the house

This refrigerator came with the house and within 1 and a half years the thing went out. We called our warranty company and after 9 visits from 3 different companies to fix it over an 8 month period, the warranty company finally said is was broken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

would buy it again in a minute. Even with the minor con items. First the ice dispensor fills with ice and the top level melts and the melt water drains down and the bottom ice freezes and will not drop down into the chute. Second, the door panel show the temp settings, not the actual temp in the frig.

Love my new LG refrigerator!

Purchased this refrigerator after looking at a lot of manufacturer models. I wanted the automatic ice maker with water dispenser and this one is very easy to use. The LED lights are so bright which helps to find items. My only complaint is about the Glide N Serve drawer. When we want an item stored in it, we must open both doors. The 28 cubic fridge/freezer has a lot of room so we are very happy with this model.
