Love the room and storage areas

We've owned this refrigerator for almost a month and really enjoy it. It replaces a standard 22cft freezer on top one that made a constant whine w/o an ice maker. This is leaps and bounds above that with lots of storage in both the refrigerator and freezer section, the ice and water dispenser are easy to use and installing the line wasn't a problem at all. The energy efficient mode of operation has worked for us since we started using with no problems. We did remove the top shelf on the left hand side so we could store taller drink items, there is not enough room in the door for a gallon of milk, a container of juice, a tea dispenser, etc. This solution has worked out well. The freezer has two drawers, a small top drawer without any dividers that rolls out on top of the bottom drawer. Both drawers are plastic with ventilation holes. I like this design better than the wire baskets in some models, a bag of frozen peas can't get stuck or torn open with the full plastic side design. A frozen pizza box will not stand up in the bottom drawer, you have to put it in at angle. Even so, there is still plenty of room in the unit.Our family of four has no trouble keeping everything we need in this model.

Would be Ok if icemaker was better

Looks good Lots of room Icemaker is too small Can not keep up with enough ice for 2 people

Have had many over the years, this is the first one I got that keeps the food fresh and cold too, at 34 degrees, an I like the ice on the door with the water, the bottom freezer, is excellent, there is so much room in the unit that I like, an talk about the light is, it is bright, easy to see what Is in there. Every thing works good, better than the other four I have had by other makes over the years....I am glad I got this one, it works great.

Along with great use of space, I am amazed at how even the temperature is in different parts of the refrigerator. The digital temperature control is great. I highly recommend this model, and LG.

I love the in door ice maker. The slim design creates more space in the refrigerator and the ice maker provides plenty of ice. I also like the slide in shelf.

Although I rated all features Excellent I did have a minor problem that was corrected by a conversation with Customer Services. The minor problem was with the ice cubes. On two occasions ,after using a large amount of cubes, the ice maker stopped working. When the cube tray was automatically filled with water the water and the tray froze, therefore, the cubes would not drop into the plastic container. We had to manually(gently) tap the ice tray so that the cubes would drop into the holding container .After lowering the Frezzer and Refrig temperature the problem ceased...hopefully forever. If not, Customer Service would dispatch a technician to correct the problem.

Great Fridge

What a difference, had a side by side that worked well but seemed it had no room. With this one, tons of space, even put frozen pizza's in the freezer laying flat, unheard of with the old one. Really quiet and great ice maker. LG hit the spot with this fridge
