Slow on ice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off we really like this refrigerator, spacious, solid, plenty of drawers, quiet. However if you use a lot of ice this is not your refrigerator, just between my wife and I it has a hard time keeping up unless we keep it in their freeze zone, but it still struggles to keep up. We might use a little more ice than normal, we drink a lot of ice water, but for a larger family, you would probably run out of ice.

rattling - noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this refer about 6 months ago. started out fine , then started rattling . you can level it and stop the rattle for a short time only for it to start again within minutes. it is the loudest refer i have ever owned and i am 71 years old. the noise will drive you crazy!!!!! i will continue to try and level it, other than that i will try and stay out of the room as much as possible.

Disappointed

We have owned this refrigerator Just shy of 6 years. After 2 years we had to have the ice maker replaced. We have also replaced 4 of the plastic side compartments. We just lost everything in both our refrigerator and freezer because the condenser broke. It took several phone calls between LG and finding a company that services their products. Not only did we lose everything but we were out for 2 weeks with NO working fridge. Will never purchase an LG product again.

Plastic door shelves break

We are not hard on our appliances and the door trays are weak and brittle. All are cracked and one totally broken. The injection molded acrylic is poorly designed and pron to early failure. Very disappointed

Worst refrigerator ever made

Our LG refrigerator compressor went and LG could not get it repaired in less than 5 days and they were going to put the same defective compressor that was in it. LG has had thousands of these compressors fail and all they do is put the same defective compressor in. Stay away from LG applances.
