[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is simple to set up and has plenty of room in both the refrigerated and frozen sections. Temp control is very good and temp varies only one or two degree F plus or minus. The ice making unit works very well and the dispenser is simple and works well. So far (about one month) we are very happy with our purchase.

We liked all the features and benefits and style, but after only 5 years, it failed to the point where we have to have it replaced. Good thing we have a Home Warranty, because what failed was the capillary tube, which for some strange reason can't be replaced and the ridge has to be replaced. So much for the 5 year warranty and the 10 year warranty on the awesome linear compressor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually bought this 6 years ago and registered it then. For some reason LG is just now sending me all of these. It does and can not be fixed. Part of a class action lawsuit. I was compensated for my loss. We will see about my repair time and food loss.
I did not purchase these appliances as they were in the home when I bought it. The microwave has buttons that no longer work, the refrigerator had the compressor stop and getting parts was a huge pain. The dishwasher is another nightmare. I will never recommend LG products.

First the icemaker dropped screws which became loose into the ice, which was replaced under warranty. Then a year later the much acclaimed new compresser went out, ruining 180 dollars in meats. Again replaced due to a lawsuit settlement against LG. The service techs did a great job to fix a sub-standard product. LG used to be a good brand name - what happened?
