We were forced to replace our LG French door model after a mere 7 years. This model was our replacement, but we have to return it. The refrigerator does not cool to the set temperature. It stays between 40-42 degrees F. Very frustrating.

Less than 4 years old & compressor quit working. We have now been without a refrigerator for 3 weeks. Would never buy an LG product again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this fridge for 4 years and have loved it! Very spacious. I just had to have the compressor changed but it was under warranty still, so I called LG and they set up an appointment to have someone come fix it. Labor and parts covered. I didn't think it would go out so quick but atleast the stood behind their product and fixed it. Very happy except it doesn't keep up on making ice.
Our new refrigerator was all that we could have asked for, at least for the first 4 years, Then it died! Unfortunately we were out of town when it stopped working and got home to find the food in the freezer compartment was spoiled as well as most of the refrigerated things. It took 2 weeks to get it repaired (new compressor installed 4 days ago) and now it is working as it should. Time will tell if it continues to work or dies again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it in September 2017, in August 2018 the compressor had to be replaced. Everything was fine until in September 2021, the cooling system broke down again, the compressor and logic board had to be replaced with an upgrade system. Let's hope it lasts longer this time. Thank God, because of a class action settlement, LG had to extend their warranty so I did not have to pay anything for both service calls.
