Has nice features, but my icemaker never worked

It is a nice frig but my icemaker will not dump the ice! It is my 5th icemaker.

I looked at a lot of refrigerators. My LFX28968ST gave me the most features for the best price. And the follow up from LG to make sure I'm happy? I wish all companies were this involved and concerned.

Ice maker makes more than I need. Very minor issue with ice maker flap not always reseating. Results in some condensation in spout area on occasion. Run some ice to clear it and it reseats. Nice fridge, large freezer, runs quiet, stays cold!

Lots of Room

With the French doors, we are now not hindered by a wall on the right side of the fridge. And the storage is much better than the same size traditional fridge we had before. My wife and I love it!

French Door fan

At first I was not sold on getting a french door refrigerator because I was worried about loosing valuable freezer space. I'm glad that I was talked into it because I had nothing to worry about... plenty of space in freezer and an abundance of room in the fridge. Love how everything adjusts to fit your needs and really like the led lighting.
And, of course, it looks fabulous!

Glad we spent the money

We started out at a lot lower price when we went shopping. After years of "American" Brands this is such a shock to the system to get a product of this quality.
The quiet running compressor and loads of features make it the new standard for any future appliance shopping.

Best Refrigerator EVER!!!!!

I have owned my LFX28968ST for about six weeks. It has exceeded all my expectations.
I was so excited to buy a new refrigerator for only the second time in my adult life. After a couples of weeks spent researching, I decided on this product and I have thrilled since the day I got it.
No validity to the two complaints people wrote in their reviews.
1. The ice sticks together and has to be manually broken up.
2. The water dispenser splashes
Neither have been a problem for me.
Only a couple of times when I depressed the ice dispenser, it took a few seconds before the dispensing system started to turn. After a few seconds the ice came out just fine. I did not have to open the unit to break it up.
The crushed ice works beautifully!!
There is plenty of ice capacity. This unit fills seven 16 ounce glasses with what it stores in the door and it starts making moreThe extra storage bin in the freezer drawer easily stores, and keeps fresh, enough for a party.
And speaking of parties, the party tray drawer is fabulous!
The water tastes better than any bottled water on the market. It comes out cold and I have not had any issues with the water splashing unless the glass is close to full when the water stream starts. I've stopped buying cases of water completely.
The shelf space in the refrigerator on the side with the ice maker is plenty big for soda cans and condiment jars. The shelves on the other door are huge.
Having the temperature controls on the outside is super convenient.
I love, love, LOVE this refrigerator! It is gorgeous, plenty big, extremely well lit, easy to clean, plenty of compartments. I could go on.
Buy it!!!! You won't be sorry.
