Fridge is under 3 years old and stopped cooling. Had authorized service tech out at least 4 times and keeps failing. Sent proof of this to LG and no response.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Lots of storage space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having the ice maker in the door gives extra space in the refrigerator compartment. I also like the sliding half shelf, It allows for larger items like a milk container to fit without raising the self above reducing storage space on that shelf. The water filtration system removes 100% of any bad taste.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had our new frig for just a couple of weeks but so far we are very pleased. Love the bottom freezer and pull out drawer. Very spacious refrigerator section, easy to see everything that is inside. Vegetables and fruits seem to stay fresher longer, too.

Stay away from LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wouldn’t recommend any LG refrigerators. Our refrigerator stopped cooling. Trying to speak to someone is virtually impossible and once you do they can be rude. The first person we spoke with had us try some troubleshooting then wait 24 hours to see if they fixed the issue , when that didn’t work they sent the first tech out and he ordered a refrigerator dryer and installed it three days later and told us to wait 5-6 hours and it should start cooling again. I waited 6 hours and there was no changes so I called LG and they said it will take 24 hours to cool. The next day the refrigerator still didn’t cool. I called LG again and they had to send another tech out and he stated it was a bad compressor, they ordered another compressor and my refrigerator is finally working. However, it took 2 weeks to get the refrigerator back up and running. But , the first week we had to eat out 3 times a day the second week we decided to buy a small refrigerator to minimize eating out daily. The bottom line it cost us almost $1500 between the food we lost, eating out and buying a small refrigerator. That don’t include refilling the fridge with everything we need to buy to refill the fridge. My suggestion is do your research and stay away from LG.

terrible product. i thought lg meant lifes good

only 4-5 years old. about 2 years ago the door shelves started to crack and break. the right hand side yesterday, when i normally opened the fridge, the top shelf finally gave in and all fell to the floor :( tried to gorilla glue it back, but not working. the ice maker is the worst though. use it for 3-4 days then have to unplug it to reset it to keep making ice. then, about 2-3 times every 3 months the (cant say d@**m, so will say darn, hope that gets through the sensors) thing dies while trying to dispense an ice berg.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Glitchy
on March 20, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge leaked water and damaged our hardwood floor. Repair guy found the condensor drain had frozen shut, so the fridge dumped the water out on our floor. This could have easily been solved by a secondary drain. The tech said this is a common problem with LG fridges, so he was able to fix it very quickly.
The ice maker is the most annoying ice dispensor ever. The ice constantly freezes together and clogs the dispensor, requiring us to take it apart an shake it loose.
