I've had this refrigerator for ten years now, and it's been a strong performer. There has been no factory defect type issues with the manufacturing, performance, workmanship, etc. And it is one of the quietest refrigerators out there on the market.
When I bought this refrigerator, I think bluetooth or wifi was just coming out on kitchen appliances. So, this fridge does not have that capability. It's somewhat a baseline model, but has everything I need. Just like any other refrigerator, the ice compartment gets stuck with the ice fused together once in a while. Although it's annoying, it's an easy 5 second fix opening the door and shaking the ice or dumping out the fused ice.
The surface repels much of the fingerprints and smudges, but if the smudges are unattended to, it takes a little more to get clean again. I'd give this a 4 out of 5 for fingerprint resistance.
I did have to replace the compressor this year (tenth year). Luckily for me, the compressor was still under the generous 10 year warranty provided by LG. I read online that modern refrigerators can last anywhere from 10-18 years, 14 years being the average. I'm hoping that this will last me another 5 years at least.

I did not get a new refrigerator. They repaired it once again, this time with a compressor. Hopefully, that takes care of this problem. But I’ve had numerous service calls for it since I purchased it five years ago. Thankfully I purchased the five year insurance! Love the fridge, but it’s had too many problems.

We bought this in 2017. Barely five years later, it has needed to be serviced three times and is still not working properly.
