Major flaw re storage

I purchased 2 pedestals for my new Samsung washer & dryer (which I thought were rather expensive). I had an American brand before & the pedestals were great for storage. Though I'm happy with my Samsung washer & dryer, I'm not happy with the pedestals because they are probably about 1/2" shorter than the American one I previously had. This means the smallest bottle/container of washing detergent standing up in the drawer (I use Tied) doesn't fit - the drawer won't close!
You'd think Samsung would have taken into account the fact that these pedestals are used for 2 purposes: (1) Height (2) Storage - I used to store all my washing machine detergents/softeners, etc.... in my old American one but in this Samsung model, I'm limited so it serves only the height purpose. I can't justify the price for just one out of 2 purposes but I do love the color & design so I splurged. Unfortunately, I now have to pay a handyman to build me a shelf above the washer & dryer for my Tide. Though I can't use them fully for storage, I did keep them because the design is beautiful & for the added height to the washer & dryer, which is also important to me.
If storage is an issue for you, my suggestion is b4 you purchase this product, take your favorite bottle of detergent or softener with you to the store & test the height to see if the drawer closes. If storage isn't an issue & it's just height, then go ahead & buy them - they are beautiful & my laundry room looks modern & great with the entire set.

A much needed accessory

I purchased two of these to raise the level of my matching washer/dryer and I am so glad that I did. I have trouble with my back and they make it easier to load and unload laundry. In addition to the obvious they are great for storage. I store clean rags, gardening gloves and in the other is used to keep matched sets of socks. I match socks as they come out of the dryer so everyone in the family knows where to look. I enjoy my washer dryer even more due to the pedestals, they slide in and out easily which is a relief to my tired back.
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, slides easily
Cons: expensive
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not put together very well

The front plastic facing of the drawer broke away on the first use. Not very well put together product. Also, the height of the drawer is lower than our last pedestal so the drawer will not close with many of the same laundry and cleaning products that we had in our previous pedestals.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations

The height is perfect

Perfect height , humungus storage space for a variety of products , not limited to detergents and softeners. I stored many bath towells in mine and had plenty of room left for laundry products as well. They are a little pricey but all in all are worthy of the expense . Highly recommended !!!

The added height makes the units much more usable. The extra storage is super nice. can't live without them.

The drawer is too small, so didn't fit the containers for the detergent or softener. the washer and the dryer looks nice over the pedestal, but that is the only advantage that I see.

Great add on to my washer!

I had a front loader previously with a pedestal and knew that I would definitely want another one with my new washer. It is perfect for bringing the washer up to a better level to limit the need to bend and make reaching in for laundry SO much easier! It also provides some extra storage area under the washer and I love that feature. Once I use the washer machine a few times, I will add a review for that, but for now so happy with my purchase and the added functionality the pedestal offers!
Pros: adds function

I was trying to figure out how the pedestal draw comes out so I can clean it, I haven't found a way to get it out.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, drawer doesnt come out
