Why aren't the drawers deeper?

The drawers are easy to open, but they aren't deep enough to stand up my 100oz. detergents and fabric softeners. So sad. I had planned to keep my laundry supplies out of sight in these drawers.
Pros: Durable
Cons: not deep enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to raise the washer and dryer and to have extra storage. The drawers are self closing and appear to be made well. It should be noted that the storage compartment is not deep enough to hold average size bottles of detergent, bleach or softener, so I was a bit disappointed.
I believe they are over priced, but looking around they all tend to charge about the same for the pedestals. I would recommend, but only if you don't want to use the drawers for taller bottles.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Addition

This was just the right height for the washer and dryer. It has good capacity to hold most of the laundry items that you need at hand. The only thing that I would change is how you open the drawer, I think that maybe it should have a kick-clasp so that you don't have to bend so far down to open it although you can use your foot to close it.
Pros: Realistic color, Durable, perfect height

They fit well and look good. We like the raised level for the washer/dryer and the storage space. They do complicate the installation a bit, and one of the plastic clamps broke when we mounted washer, but it was our fault. Washer very heavy, hard for 2 people to lift it on without leveraging on edge. Not functionally important. Just wish they weren't so expensive!

Extremely Large Storage Drawer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased Two (2) 27" Pedestals WE357A0F/XAA (MERLOT) (Cranberry Red) Color along with Front-Load Washer and Front-Load Dryer on 5/20/2017 and they were delivered on Memorial Day 5/31/2017. They are Extremely Large Storage Drawers. The only complaint I have is they are NOT tall enough to have Bottles of Laundry Detergent, Fabric Softener, etc., stored in a STAND-UP position. You would have to lay them down! The main reason I purchased them was to make the Front-Load Washer and Front-Load Dryer stand higher so as not to have to stoop lower to reach inside the units.
I would recommend this to a friend!

FIRST DAY to use it and so far its great- extra storage is always a plus. Its a good drawer that has a divider.

Over priced for what you get.

I've had these now since 3/23/19 under my washer and dryer. There is quite a bit of shimmy on the washer since the metal is quite thin. No way you can store anything on top of the washer or it will fall off. The hold down clamp part for the washer and dryer feet are cheap plastic and one broke when setting the dryer on it. The space in the drawer is not tall enough for most detergent bottles so if you use boxes of powder these could work for you. You can not remove the drawers to clean underneath. Every single one of my Samsung appliances have had some sort of issue, with the clothes washer and the dishwasher having to be replaced at 1.5 and 2.5 years because parts are not available. The handle on my micro/oven combo is loose and makes this grinding sound when I open the micro door. The oven light never worked and the wire rack came all bent. Called Samsung about that and they said it wasn't covered. The old dishwasher that quit had two water wall belts break and the top wire rack had the plastic coating came off leaving a rusted metal prong in two corners. Can't use those corners for anything. The "smart" screen in the refrigerator is Bixby, so nothing really integrates with it and is so cumbersome to operate, we gave up trying to figure it out. I never have turned on the ice maker since they are known not to work and leak water out the front of the door. The only thing that hasn't broke yet is the gas stove. Waiting for that (with fire extinguisher nearby).

Basically good with one missing feature

Works well as far as I can tell. Raises washer to good height and appears sturdy enough. My old Maytag pedestal had a sliding cover to keep clothing from dropping into drawer and support laundry basket. Wish the Samsung pedestal had this feature.
