I have been living in my brand new house, where all I can hear is the noise of this refrigerator. I am not alone, friends and neighbors who chose this refrigerator have the same complaint. If I want ice, I'd better put a large pan under the ice maker or the ice will go everywhere but in a glass.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I only bought this because it was reduced a lot. I just hope it last at least twelve years. My last GE only lasted nine.

I have always bought GE products for years, but this time I an disappointed that you no longer have the black textured front. Now I constantly fight the finger prints and dust on the door. The worst part was trying to pull off all that plastic wrap that is still stuck in places under the seals. Not a good idea!
