I’ve owned this new protector for about a month. My first concern is the hard snap on cover doesn’t fit nearly as well as the one for my original IPad Air. It seems to never be securely snapped on in the “USE” configuration, in the “PROTECT” configuration it is very secure. So it does protect very well. Also the IPAd cannot be charged unless the hardcover is in the “PROTECT” configuration due to the port being covered and sealed with the cover Snapped on the backside.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I like the otterbox. It sturdy and it truly waterproofs my son's Ipad. I would have gave 5 stars but I don't like that it makes it harder for the screen to respond to him touch now.
This is the 5th clip since buying the original defender case. The retaining portion of the clip is not built to last. I like the stance it provides but I hate the quality.
