Too Noisy

This unit is nice and compact. It cools and freezes normally. The NOISE of it when running is intolerable. The fan is loud, , when running, it makes loud groaning sounds that go on the whole time it runs. The groaning noise is louder than the fan noise. I assumed GE was quality . I assumed wrong! Would I like my money back and buy a different refrigerator? Absolutely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This fridge is very very loud and the shelves are very very cheap, don't waste your money on this!

Just right for my kitchen

I have limited space in my kitchen, and this model works beautifully. Holds a LOT of food very efficiently. I do not find it too loud --sounds just like the GE refrigerator I replaced after 21 years of service. Missed having a snack drawer, but I am adapting. Love the extra space in the door shelves, wish the produce drawers moved a bit more smoothly. This was the best smaller refrigerator out there after I looked at the alternatives

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Old fridge went out and I needed something quickly. This refrigerator, while definitely not top of the line, is a great buy for the money. Its efficient and holds more than one would think. Great for rental property!

Unhappy with freezer performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying all of the recommendations in the owner's manual, I am still having problems with ice forming on the inside top and bottom of the freezer door. Very irritating to have to clear this area almost every day. The noise is not a problem for me and the appearance is good. I had a GE almost identical to this one that lasted for almost 20 years and assumed that I was getting another good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a certain size to fit in the spot available. This refrigerator/freezer slid right in. It works fine, I haven't had any trouble with it. There are a few things that I would have liked that it doesn't have..........glass shelves, separate freezer control, and humidity controlled drawers.
It is a bit noisy at times. I like it.
