gps & video issues

gps won't work without wifi. how stupid since there isn't access to wifi while you're driving. also, no flash player & no way to download it. what's the point? this is getting returned! waste of time.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

Dead in less than 2 months

If you are reading this then obviously do a bit of research about the GT3113 before purchasing. I would not buy this product again. I had hoped to use this device to read the newspaper and watch the odd youtube video.
I can't because the tablet is dead less than 2 months from purchase. I wish I read more reviews instead of just looking at the price.

FLASH PLAYER

Frustrated with my galaxy tab. I cannot watch any video on my tablet. Every time I click on a video the device ask for downloading flash player and when I go to apps store it does not allow me to down load flash player. Either I have to be able to download flash player or some other way be able to watch video.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive
Cons: Did not meet expectations, not easy to download adobe flash player
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great phone/computer/movie player

3 months of use and still learning new and cool things with this phone. Large clear viewing screen. Lots of storage. Emails and texting are simple. Tethering is great for kids on a road trip and movies play nice. speaker phone is loud and navigation works great. Navigating through options is quick and simple. Battery holds its charge well. Camera and video recorder work great and are of high quality. Sharing photos is easy. Allshare works real well with my TV and laptop. Only problem I have had is trying to hit numbers on the keypad while on a phone call. As you pull the phone away from your head the keypad lights up. Sometimes before I can key a number the screen goes dark. I'm sure there is an option to extend screen time that I have not found yet. No complaints great phone. I Have 4 different samsung phones in the house currently and they all work great. Samsung continues to impress and gets better with each generation of phones.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color

No help whatsoever

My samsung galaxy tab 2 won't connect to the internet via my wifi router - every other device ever to enter my home has done this automoatically.
I tried to find out why - but is there any help available? Is there any asnwer on the samsung website to the other people queruying the saem problem, is there anything in the Tab itself that helps by way of diagnosis? A perfectly strong signal is not acceopted and the connection is disabled by the Tab with no explanation.
So now I can do nothing with it.
My friends new pad worked immediately but I thought I'd been clever and saved myself a load of money

The product has all basic and advance feature,easy to use and serve all my requirement that I expect from tablet pc.It has a good apps store where you can start to whatever software you need for both free and paid.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: short battery life

Original Galaxy Tab has better camera...

I own an original Galaxy Tab 7" wifi and the new Galaxy Tab 2 7" wifi, and honestly, I have to say the old one is better in almost every respect.
Pros:
*The GTab 2 is lighter, faster, thinner, and has slightly louder speakers.
*Runs Android 4.0 and the screen is very pretty.
*Has all the features you'd expect... with one glaring exception (See below).
*Since it has a newer version of Android, it works with Bluetooth keyboards and HID devices.

Cons:
*The camera is horrible compared to the old one. It doesn't auto-focus, has no flash, has worse resolution, and you can't use it to scan barcodes (which I did a lot with my old GTab). I loved using the flash LED as a flashlight, too... works so much better than using the whole screen. I wish they would have left the camera alone, I would have paid the money for it.
*The WiFi antenna is situated so that if you hold it upright with your left hand, WiFi reception is almost nothing. Hold it with the other hand (on the other side), it works perfectly. Why is it like this? The old GTab never did this.
*When connected to a non-Windows computer, it won't let you connect as USB storage. Very frustrating, I can't just plug it in and copy files to it like my old one.
*The auto-dim screen feature seems to always make it darker than it needs to be. I'm always finding myself turning auto-dim off because I just can't read the screen. Old one wasn't like this.
