Did not know what to expect, now it goes everywhere with me

I adore my Samsung Galaxy tablet! When I first purchased it, I didn't know what to make of it: was it worth the money, did the Galaxy have enough features to make my life easier, or was it just a bunch of hype. It was soooo worth it. It travels everywhere with me; for example. the Galaxy is lightweight, the battery lasts throughout the day and allows me to walk around without a charger everywhere I go!!!!
Samsung has made a great product with an affordable price!!! It's a win-win all around. I use a smartphone with an itty bitty screen to read in bed. Not anymore. It's so perfect.
Pros: Affordable, light weight, fast, has not had a single problem. Micro SD slot for easy uploading or more storage. Simplistic design and easy to navigate. A lot of fun. Great OS.
Cons: I wish I would have waited ONE extra week to buy a larger GB storage... but I have a ton of apps and haven't used a quarter of the storage... I wish it came in different colors.
Great job Samsung...!!! I'm in love with my Galaxy :)

Excellent android tablet

I had a kindle fire but I felt it wasn't exactly as androidy as I wanted -- I wanted to learn more about android ICS. Anyways I bought this and gave the fire to my dad. This tablet has met all of my expectations. It is fast, the display is beautiful (does netflix great), and I'm really happy with it. I would like there to become some accessories for it like a USB port through the Samsung connector, possibly, or maybe a way to do HDMI out also through that port. I can pair a keyboard with bluetooth but not so much a mouse. I had tried cheaper tablets that had built-in USB on the go + mini HDMI and I do miss those amenities, but this tablet is much better over all. The screens on the cheaper tablets just aren't as good as this one is, and pretty much, that says it all. I'm a big reader and you get all the reading apps. Plus you get the google app store (play?) which a lot of the cheaper tablets do not have.
It's definitely a keeper. I just prefer the 7" size.
(Bought an iPad 2 around 6/11 but gifted it because I just felt it was too big for me to use comfortably, plus way heavier.).

Great Tablet for the price

I have been shopping around comparing tablets for months now just trying to decide what to buy.
I got a chance to test this one out in the store and I absolutely fell in love with it.
My husband and I are so happy with it, we have decided to get one as a gift for our daughter.

Great Kids Tablet

My Daughter saved up for an Ipad, but decided on this cheaper alternative. Great little gadget and perfect for email, chat and games.

I researched tablets before I bought the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and I can say that after a couple of weeks I still am glad I purchased the tablet. It's fast, has a great battery life, and does what I want it to. The apps from the Google Play store (Android market) make it ever versatile. I love my little tablet. It's just the right size for me!

Overall a good product

First off this product can not be beat in the value:features:performance ratio. It's quick and efficient, has a decent processor and 1gb of RAM which is definitely a plus. It handles video playback quite well. I wanted something simple for browsing the internet and reading books but also wanted bluetooth and a camera for video chat.
Android ICS and Samsung's TouchWiz UI are working excellently together. Overall if you want a small tablet that has more than an e-reader this is for you. Highly recommend it, go out and buy one!

Cons: Not high def

A tablet that screams "take me wherever you go!"

I bought this tablet and used it for almost two weeks, then I gave it to my mother as a belated mothers' day gift. Price you pay versus tablet you get, the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 is a great value. It has a sensible design, and with its size and weight this tablet motivates you to take it with you wherever you go.
Performance-wise, this tablet stutters a little bit when you have a few programs open, but even then it isn't an unbearable lag. With some optimization, Samsung could tweak the performance to be better. The battery last for two days of moderate use or a day and a little bit more with heavy use. Colors look beautiful on its screen. Just make sure you have something to wipe the screen clean frequently because it's a smudge magnet!
If you are looking for a small tablet, or are just getting initiated in the mobile technology, there's no competition. Nothing out there beats the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0's value. You get the whole Android experience plus Samsung added value in a price point where you could only get nameless tablets without the true Android experience or tablets locked to proprietary ecosystems.
I'm happy rocking a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and very happy seeing my mom having no troubles with her Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.

Cons: performance isn't awful but could've been better

Unit and Carry Case

Product is fine. Instuctions are very limited!
Unless you are a PC buff, it will take you time to get acclimated to this product. I bougt it for my wife and she is finding it a slow learning process.
Someone must create a case where you you use the cameras wihout removing the TAB from the case to shoot a picture. Also a shoulder strap would help as it is to big for many ladies purses, and certainly does not fit into a man's pocket.
Great fun, takes excellent quality pictures and is relatively fast.
