as a juicing fanatic and owner of a cold pressed juicer I found the nutribullet useful for quick smoothie-like drinks. the machine is easy to use as there is little to no prep and clean up is a breeze. I have only used my nutribullet to make drinks and found that unlike a juicer they must be consumed immediately of you want to maintain the original texture of the drink. overall a good buy for me as a supplement to my juicer.

We have had our 600 since Christmas, and love the fruit and green smoothies. What a great way to pack it in. There are 5 folks in our household so we have been giving it quite a workout. Adding kale, and flax seed or nuts makes me want to run it longer to smooth it out. I burned up one, and NutriBullet replaced it for shipping costs! But I have to say, we need a bigger motor. I am also learning I do not need to run it quite so long. We should have gotten the Pro (900 watts). Or bigger. Be careful not to leave it on too long. Follow the directions! Maybe they should make these things with auto shut off after 30 seconds.

This is my second NutriBullet. I love it. I did have a problem with the rubber ring getting too loose. I had to take it out to clean under the ring, it got scummy. I don't understand why directions say not to remove the rubber ring. It really gets yucky underneath. Other than that, it is all I hoped it would be.

I bought the original Bullet, used it 6 times, it broke. Returned it, swapped for the NutriBullet, returned it in a month. I did not like either one. Nothing like the advertisements.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
