Screwed-on lid gets stuck & cant open

I love my Nutribullet & have had it for almost 2 years. Convenient, powerful, easy cleanup, easy to use - BUT - my one big complaint/problem: sometimes the lid w/blade that is screwed onto the cup won't come open. Even my husband who has very strong hands & arms cannot twist the lid off. Anybody have a solution. I find as I search the internet that this seems to be a common problem/design flaw.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased my bullet a few years ago and have the 25 yr warranty so very happy i made the decision to purchase the warranty. Now i am covered for my issues with the bullet and the rep was FANTASTIC!!! He was knowledgeable, caring, thoughtful and all i can say is WOW

I received this for Christmas 2014 when I was released from the hospital on a feeding tube. As soon as I was allowed nutrition by mouth, I used this to supplement my tube feedings and was able to gain back most of the 25 # I had lost. I learned I could make delicious and nutritious soups using leftovers and seasonings.
