My daughter bought it for me for X-mas. I only used it twice. I had to read in the book and there was two cups with two covers that fit the cups until I learned how to figure it out. It works good up to now. I don't make a smoothie every morning. I don't know if you can use it besides smoothies

This is the 3rd bullet I have bought in 3 years.I do only shakes in them.Once in awhile I put kale or sliced almonds.I had hoped they would last a bit longer.They just stop.I purchased again because it is small and convenient and easy to clean.
