Does make good smoothies - if you could get to it. Every time I have the hardest time opening the container after it is made. I am a petite woman - have small hands so its hard to grasp the top to open it. It feels as if I had tightened it too much. One morning after working with it for 20 minutes I had to put it in the refrigerator to work on it that evening after work. Was very fustrating!

I brought this going on a year ago and it was working when it want to but the last two customer service representative followed the problem until they got it resolved.

Bought this unit and only used it twice before gasket unseated. Took another 2+ weeks before I had a replacement cross blade sent to me. Not a good start.
