My blade was not functioning properly after about a years use. There was brown powder and sludge leaking from the bottom and it was making a really loud noise when used. I called customer service and they sent me a new blade free of charge. No hassle.

Died after 15 months

Used it twice a day, did not overload the container. Worked great at first then the last two weeks the motor began making a noise that sounded as if the motor was struggling then an electrical odor smell the last few days. Finally gave up the ghost today.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
