I received this as a gift and was so excited as I have used the smaller, less powerful magic bullet for several years. Shortly after receiving this product, the gasket came loose and caught in the blades. The brochure suggested NOT replacing the gasket but instead to call for a complete blade replacement as once the gasket becomes loose, it can become stretched. Customer Service assured me they would sent one with no charge to me. Awaiting my new blade.

I was told by a friend that two of his nutri bullets in the past were burnt out so I have been very careful with the machine by not letting it run for over 5 seconds. But still I can smell the burning smell every time and it is not pleasant. Otherwise the product is fine at its job.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have an issue with the "cups" the stress stripes are on the inside...it would be great to have them on the outside of the cup...for two reasons
1. will help to open it up..give a grip hold. I have cancer, and fingers are not the strong and can not reach around the cup as well, so have to use a towel to hold it.
2. it would help to clean it, since tiny bits get stuck on the stress stripes inside the cup...I use toothpicks to clean the sides of them.
otherwise I use it alot.
