My husband and I bought a couple of these because of the convenience of not having a cord to mess with. I like the charger as a whole but with how much technology has evolved recently I would think there would be a way to have the charger make a sound if a phone is on it but isn't charging.
It worked perfectly before I put my case on my phone, and I'm not going to take the time to take my case off just to charge my phone.
I usually use my phone as my alarm clock so when I realized that I had to sit my phone on there exactly right I went out and got a regular alarm clock.
I set my phone on there and it'll make the charging sound and then I have to check it after about 20 minutes to make sure it is still charging if I bump the phone or the table at all it will stop the charging and if I don't realise it stopped charging I wake up in the morning to a completely dead phone.

Malfunctioned after 3 days

The USB charger that connects to the charging stand gave out after 3 days. I had to hold it at a certain angle for it to work. I sent it back to exchange it, waiting to see if the next one will opt out too. The fast charging doesn't charge fast, it's the average time that any other regular charger will do.
Pros: Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Almost lost it all

Purchased this charging stand in march of 2018 which I thought was a great investment. Since Ive always used Samsung products with no regrets. This evening has changed my mind on the quality of Samsung. Today my charge was smoking and the unit was melting, usb port is burt and the outlt plug was overheated. The smell of melting plastic (hot curling iron) is what alarmed me. Just dont know if this was just a faulty item or do I throw away all of my wireless chargers a total of 5.

My charger worked for one week then stopped working. Looks like they do not have a way for me to return for credit. I would prefer to not to trade for another charger of same type - not reliable. I wish I had not purchased this item.

My husband and I bought 2 of these last month and they have been lifesavers. His phone is older and the port for the charger is on the fritz, so he needs to use the wireless charging, and these are amazing.

This charger lasted about a month or so and than it just stopped working. No idea why. I would not buy this type of phone charger from samsung in the future.
