Clean Lines and GREAT space

We needed to replace a kitchen aid side by side. This model has great lighting, a ton of space in the top and lower section. It is easy to find things. The outside has clean lines and fits with the other stainless steel appliances we have. So far, this has been a great addition to the kitchen. No issues at all

absolutely the best. it looks amazing the features are great lots of space for even big items. only thing i could complain about is water dispenser is a little difficult to press when using a plastic cup verses a glass. its in an akward spot as well. i am extremely happy with my purchase.

Never buying Samsung again

purchased an entire samung appliance set and all 3 appliances have had issues. microwave broke after 6 months, refirgerator has had ongoign issues while under warranty and after warranty issues. they have a known problem with the refrigerator and there are no recall issues.

Chronic issue with Refrig Compartment!

a chronic issue with refrigerator compartment freezing over.
the unit is only approx 6 years old. i have had to unplug and manually defrost every 3 months for the past two years. faced with the high cost of servicing or buying a new refrigerator, i am choosing to buy new.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Enters with a "bang!"

Purchased this fridge - rf261beaesr/aa in July. It's now August. The features are all nice and the fridge does as expected. Really like many things it does. Nice size, good color, keeps things cold. There is an "added feature" however that isn't mentioned. An extremely loud popping noise. Samsung claims it is normal expanding/contracting as the unit cools etc. Did I mention it's loud? Yes, like someone snuck up behind you and banged something in your ear. You will literally jump. It's very fun! We wait for it to scare the dog so we can watch her shake. Samsung stands by their product - just not too close in case the noise pops. Good luck.
Pros: Realistic color, super loud popping noise
Cons: popping noise so loud it wakes the dead
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

love fridge but not happy about surface rust just got product in aug of 2012 put a few magnets on it and when i took them of to polish there was surface rust and its starting to pit i thought stainless steal didn't rust! that was main reason we bought this product we still need to buy rest of appliances don't know if we'll go with samsung
