Horrible ice maker.

Nothing but issues

fridge worked great the first year i had it but every sonce its been issue after issue with the ice machine. its been replaced once and now suddenly the water has stopped. too many issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ices up and leaks

The drain line freezes and water floods the refrigerator and then the ice maker starts freezing up. Have added the defrost drain line extension that is said to fix the problem and it still happens. Terrible engineering design.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality, bad engineering, poor performance

Cheaply Made Refrigerator

We've had our refrigerator for over 3 years so our warranty no longer covers the mass of things that have gone wrong with this refrigerator. First of all, this is our second Samsung refrigerator because the first one died after a year. They replaced the refrigerator because there were numerous leaks coming from a variety of spots. Next, we have had the ice maker go out twice in two years and both times were fixed under warranty. Now our ice maker is going out and no longer covered under warranty. Our last refrigerator lasted 15 years and still worked when we go rid of it. Goes to show manufactures don't make products to last.
Cons: Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best fridge we have ever had. The water filter feature is great, but would like to see a longer spout or a flow dispenser speed toggle, as sometimes we get splash back when the water hits ice cubes. Other than that it has been great!

Great overall features and low energy use

I like the features and design. It maximizes the available cu. ft. and provides temp control for veg. and meat in the well designed shelf drawers. The water dispenser doesn't waste space like the external dispensers. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a well designed and functional refrig.

25.5 FRENCH DOOR REFRIGERATOR

WE'VE HAD OUR REFRIGERATOR FOR THREE MONTHS AND LOVE THE ILLUMINATION INSIDE. THE SECOND SHELF HAS A FRONT SECTION THAT LIFTS FOR STORAGE OF TALL BOTTLES ON THE THIRD SHELF (SUCH AS WINE). THERE IS AN ABUNDANT AMOUNT OF STORAGE SPACE IN THE REFRIGERATOR AND FREEZER COMPARTMENT.
THE ONLY DOWNER IS THE ICE MAKER IS EXTREMELY LOUD WHEN DISCHARGING ICE - SORT OF LIKE A GUN GOING OFF WHICH CAN BE A LITTLE DISCONCERTING AT THREE IN THE MORNING.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ice/water dispenser is horrible

Every time we get ice, or water some drops all over the floor. EVERY TIME. This is a very poorly design on the fridge. I like the design overall, the cooling, the depth and space it offers. The ice and water dispenser is really lacking. I would not have bought this fridge if I knew it was going to have this issue.
