Works perfectly, no problems, easy set-up, reduces paper pile-up. Tried neatdesk first, couldn't get it to work.

Long Over Due

I have a disabled son in his fourth at college. He has a visual impairment that impacts his reading significantly. He has to have all of his books in a digital format so that his e-reader can read to him. Over the last three and a half years when publisher would not provide a digital copy of their books, I would have the book bindings removed and have the books scanned by an office at the college. This effort is time consuming and frustrating to get all of my son's reading material reading before semester start. I opted to purchase the AD2000 to handle the scanning. I bought the AD2000 based on the few reviews I read online. The AD2000 was easy to install, simple to operate, very fast and meets my son's needs. I am scanning large amounts of printed back to back material and I am thoroughly impressed with the total quality and operation of the product. Additionally the AD2000 is very compact and has a small foot print when the trays are stored.

Just what the Clutter ordered!

I did a lot of research before buying this. Had excellent reviews. I wanted to reduce the clutter in my office and this fits the bill perfectly. Easy to use and setup. VERY FAST... I scanned my 25 year old Masters Thesis (200 pages) in both .pdf and OCR and was amazed how fast it went through the pages. You just have to make sure the pages are not wrinkled/bent and have staples out of the pages. Jams, while unavoidable, are easy to clear.

Love it, fast, easy to use and does not jam. Also, I called Brother to ask a couple of general questions and got to talk to a live person and they were very knowledgeable.

It's fast and accurate and easy to use. Comes with a sleeve to put smaller paper like receipts in so you can scan multiple receipts double sided. Feeds multiple pages nicely. Love this scanner!

Sorry for purchase

I really needed this item for my office. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it work. It worked fine, I just didn't know how to use it. I called tech support & the guy got a little irritated with me 'cause I didn't understand his vocabulary. No printed instructions with the unit, only via the Internet. The Internet instructions were not printed that I understood what some of the terms meant. I returned the unit after five days as I could not get anyone to explain how the darn thing worked.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
