I watch movies and sports! When my brother offered to give me something for my home I looked around and decided my Sony 32" HDTV had served its purpose for 8 years well enough. I thought I would stay with Sony who had been the manufacturer for my last 3 tvs, but he suggested I look at Samsung, that he has very happy with his.
I did a lot of research online and in-store before I gave my brother my final choice for this 50th Birthday/Chanukah gift.
This SMART-TV is great for movies and sports and gives me access to the web really fast.
This TV is well rated at www.rtings.com and is a 2015 BEST BUY in Consumer Reports.
I didn't get the voice command remote control nor 120 hz of the JU7100, those are "extras" you pay for. I could have gotten a 50" JU7100 with those extras and stayed within budget or a 60" JU6500. The screen size was more important to me. My next step is the wireless keyboard, until then, I'm just screen mirroring with my Samsung Galaxy Note 5. If I was more of a gamer, I would have gone for the JS7000. I'm not.
FINAL NOTE: The speakers on this are tops. With a volume set at 8 it is equal to my old tv at 32. Yes, I hooked it up to my home audio system, but that's not my point. These speakers are better than people have written.

Great TV but WiFi wouldn't work

This TV has a spectacular screen. Crisp, clear - best TV I have owned. But, I could not get the WiFi to hook up with my router. I changed all the settings on my router but the TV would not join my WiFi. Looked online and tried the fixes everyone else used to try to join the WiFi network - no luck. Finally, I bought a WiFi extender with a Ethernet connection. Still was unable to join my wireless network. So, I hooked up the TV to the WiFi extender with a LAN cable - joined my home network just fine. Problem solved. TV works great now.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: wireless did not work
I would recommend this to a friend!

The tv will not connect to the wifi. I have given up on trying.

PICTURE GREAT, SOUND STINKS.

The picture is awesome. I am really impressed. BUT the sound is about as bad as it can get. How do you justify putting the speakers on the back of the TV so it goes against the wall. Sounds great if you pull it out and get behind the set. Oh, I sure I figured it out. You want to sell us sound bars. I am really disappointed. For what these sets cost the sound should be as good as the picture.

Cons: terrible sound.

I love my SAMSUNG 4K ULTRA HD. The pictures are so clear and I can do pretty much anything on this TV
