I bought this product after finding great difficulty flossing traditionally. This waterpik was very helpful and works well. My only critique is that the water shut off button should work in the reverse; instead of pressing to stop the flow of water, as it is now, you should have to press to turn on. All in all, great product.

Great unit, but instructions should be clearer

I bought the first unit a couple of years ago. I mainly use the toothbrush. It started to perform intermittently a few months ago. I contacted Waterpik, found it was still under warranty, and was told the unit should not be left plugged in, as it wears down the battery. They replaced the entire unit at no cost to me! I've found that I get a lot of use from one charge, and do not keep the unit plugged in constantly. I would give it 5 stars, but I think not keeping the unit plugged in constantly should be listed as a warning, or somehow stressed as important in the instructions for the unit.
