Okay Im a vet that just was just approved for dental Im sorry to say its been years sense Ive received proper dental care and the years have not been that great in that area. Ive brushed and flossed to a degree but after a deep cleaning at VA I was told to invest in a good tooth brush I did some research and found this unit did it all the brush lets you know when to change areas and stops after 2 minutes takes all the guess work out the water pik takes a bit of training on to tame it (LOL) but once you are use to it your gums feel great after I love it and wont go back to the old ways the attachments that come with it does it all GREAT for the whole family and makes a great water gun in a pinch LOL

My dentist suggested the waterpik several weeks ago since I need to do a thorough job of cleaning around my receding gums. I immediately ordered it and my comment to the dentist two weeks later was that after all these years with my dental concerns why hadn't any of my dentists or periodontist recommended it many years ago?

I bought my Waterpik two years ago and love it. After two years, the battery would not recharge but I learned I could not buy a new battery. There was nothing else wrong with the unit. I wish the manufacturer would remedy this problem.

I have been very happy with this mostly. However, the toothbrush does not fully recharge anymore. Each time I use it, it dies earlier and earlier. That would be fine if you could buy a replacement battery but it looks like this is just going to end up in the trash. I am tired of buying products that are not serviceable. I will be very careful from now on to only buy products that allow battery replacement. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS IF I COULD REPLACE THE BATTERY.
