Got this primarily for 2 reasons, the flossing unit and that it was a combo. Like that it has a number of different heads for the toothbrush and flosser. I find that I prefer slightly warmer water for the flossing unit that cold which is great. Overall meets all my expectation - time will tell when I go for my next cleaning!!

I have been using this for about a month and love how efficient it is. It is much easier then flossing and does a much better cleaning job. The first week I tested the results of the Water Pik by flossing afterwards and there was NOTHING for the floss to extract. If you are very fussy about getting water on your mirror or counter this unit could frustrate but I am learning how to keep the water under control and making less of a mess each time I use it. Although it is interesting if you don't have it all the way in your mouth before turning it on!
This only inconvenience is that the button control on the water pik handle is a bit tight to turn on or off. However, the good very much outweighs this small inconvenience. My guns are looking much healthier and the gaps the dentist always checks are obviously getting smaller.
