I bought this on the recommendation of my dental hygenist. Product is great. I'm anxious to go back to the dental hygenist to see if she can tell any difference inmy gum health.
My old unit still worked great but I wanted to save space and liked the idea of having the toothbrush built in so I decided to buy it. The toothbrush does an amazing job! The flossing unit is gentle yet powerful. I'm totally pleased with my new Waterpik!
I purchased this model about 2 months ago. I am diabetic and my teeth and gums bleed every time I brush. A friend recommended this model and no more bleeding. The amount of stuff caught between my teeth and causing my gums to bleed was unbelievable. My breath is better and no more bleeding. I went in for a cleaning and the hygienist wanted to know what I was doing. when I told her she said keep it up. .
I like most of the features of this water pix except the tooth brush. During the brushing the unit will shut off and you have to restart it. This is the second unit I have had the first one had the same problem and was replaced. That is one of the positives the customer service was excellent
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your feedback. Our Sensonic Professional Plus Toothbrush does have a 2-minute brushing timer with 30-second intervals to ensure adequate brushing time throughout the mouth. The brush will automatically shut off after 2 minutes of run time. If you would like further assistance please contact our Product Support specialists at 800-525-2774.
I bought this because my sister had her wisdom teeth removed and needed my Waterpark and clarisonic immediately to prevent the dry socket as food kept getting in her surgical site, so I purchased this to replace both units. I love that I only need to plug one thing in to charge the brush and power the pik. The toothbrush is not as powerful as a clarisonic but it's pretty powerful and I honestly didn't love the clarisonic forr daily use it felt aggressive. This one feels good daily but good use just a little pep like maybe the spinning top or something extra.
I bought the combo sonic toothbrush and Water Pik a month ago with the intention of having it replace a Oral B Triumph 9000 pro toothbrush while adding the water pick feature.
The sonic toothbrush is far more gentle on the teeth and gums than my Oral B unit. It cleans the teeth adequately and I would rate it at slightly below my previously used Oral B for deeper cleaning when the head nears the slight space between teeth.
The water pick feature is terrific. I use it with distilled water as our local tap water is fairly hard with mineral content. My gum pockets are reducing in size.
I had to change my teeth cleaning routine to compliment use of this unit and went to (1) manual floss, (2) brushing (3) water pik (4) mouth wash.
