Unit won't stop heating!

We are experiencing a major issue here with this microwave. Right now, the microwave stays permanently on and HEATING, unless you open the lid. The only way to shut it off is to permanently keep the lid open. Obviously, this could be a significant safety issue. This unit was manufactured in 2014 and first used in 2015, so barely 5 years of service. Dissatisfied!

Less than 5 years old and will not turn on

I expected a cafe series to last 10 plus years but here we are 4 years later and it is not working at all. The clock count down works but no spinning plate and no heating happening. I guess I will just buy the cheap models knowing they last less than 5 years.

Loud and limited timer

Just installed this with the trim kit built into the cabinets. While it looks nice and performs well, it is very loud and the timer is limited to only 15 second intervals. If you want to heat something for exactly 40 seconds, you can't do it. You must round up or down to the nearest 15 second interval.

Great Microwave Feaures with a Great Look

I bought this microwave about 2 weeks ago after searching for a built-in microwave that was more affordable than my previous one and could fit into my 30 inch opening, using the attractive trim kit available. The microwave is easy to use and looks great in the stainless steel finish. It also has the bonus features of convection cooking and sensor cooking controls. This microwave fits all my needs and would match any kitchen collection of stainless steel appliances.

malfunction within two weeks

after using the oven on microwave and convection a loud vibration started and it persists to this day.

Hate that it doesn't have numbers!

We bought this about 2 months ago and I am still trying to get used to it. It does not have a number pad so you have to turn the dial to set anything, the cook time, the timer, the power lever, you name it. It is super annoying. I also can't figure out how to cancel the timer once it is started. For a super expensive microwave, I do not think it is any better than any other. We bought it because it matches our stove and dishwasher. I wouldn't have bought it other than for that reason.

Same Problem Others Reporting - Stays on

We are having same problem that others are reporting. It stays on unless the door is opened and no other way to shut off. This is a major defect of some kind of interlock. Mine is a 2012 GE Cafe model.
