False Advertisement - No Help From LG

I bought this TV online because the title of the Google search result for the link to the LG site said "LG 50PA6500: 50 inch Class 3D capable 1080P Plasma TV with ...". Note the "3D capable" part, which also displays in the browser tab when you visit the LG site. I bought the TV expecting 3D and was disappointed to find it didn't have it. I contacted LG and their response was essentially, "We'll fix our web page...thanks." No recognition that I paid for one thing and got cheated. No offer to resolve the situation. Just "too bad for you". We have one other LG TV and an LG washer and dryer. I've been an LG fan for years but no more. This company does not care about fixing mistakes that ripoff its customers.
Pros: ripoff
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great picture color and blacks ...you need to adjust the picture yourself for best picture quality dont rely on automatic settings. overall really great tv for price

Great picture, but ...

This TV had a great picture. But the sound leaves alot to be desired. Will have to add a soundbar or home theatre system to improve the audio.
The standard remote that came with this tv is horrible. You definitely have to use two hands when operating it. Plus I have NEVER, EVER seen a TV that doesnt have a "CLOSED CAPTION" button on the remote. To enable "Closed Caption", you must actually go into the menu and press at least four buttons to enable or disable "Closed Captions" ... Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! Next purchase wont be an LG.

Great picture, sound, features. We are enjoying it greatly. Have been wanting a large flat screen but was looking for a good value. I think I picked a gem.

This TV has proved to be an excellent value with exactly the features we were looking for and an excellent picture. It may not have all the bells and whistles of some newer TVs, but it perfectly suits our needs.

Great TV for our Money!

The only feature that I am used to having on our TV's BUT is lacking on this one - not abe to set it up for captioning when it is on mute. Captioning is either set for ALL the time or NOT AT ALL! This is NOT the case on all my previous TV sets of the last 20 years or so. I wish this TV had this great feature ... especially when the phone rings right in the middle of a favorite movie/program one is watching.
Hopefully, this feature will be added to future LG TV's!
