Too good to be true!

I adore my JBL speaker(s)!! I find this speaker the easiest to use, and gives the finest sound of any speakers I've heard or owned. I've heard so many speakers by 'generic' makers, and I've had a hard time reproducing the tight and thumping bass of the JBL's. I always had JBL 'regular-sized" speakers in my home, with my "stereo", and would never have thought of buying anything but the products invented by this "giant' among 'acoustic sound reproducers'!!
A rather unhappy end, however, I guess too many 'friends', must have heard the wonderful quality of my JBL's, so they decided to 'make-off'' with one of the set I'd purchased. I'm a tad strapped at the moment, so I must look for some sort of substitute for my first and foremost 'love', the JBL!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Small Packages! This this gets loud, its clear, and the clip is solid. The bass gets better if you lay it on the table and it has a 3.5 mm cable to save battery. Don't listen to complaints about bass...this thing is the diameter of a coaster.

I'm really torn with this review...I won this item as a door prize at a work event a few weeks ago and fell in love with it, it was great! But it stopped working, it will not charge, seems like something is wrong with where the charger plugs into the device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please try using a different USB cable. The cable may be bad. If the problem continues, this will confirm that the problem is in the CLIP. In this case, please contact Customer Support in the Support section.

I really like the clip, but what is the little hole on the side for? Is it auxiliary in or out (can I use it to receive the bluetooth signal and then plug my home receiver into it?).

Charging won't work

Sound is great when the speaker is plugged in but the thing will not stay on for more than a few seconds even after it has been charging over 24 hours.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
