Ideal for home and travel

The JBL Flip 2 has great sound considering how portable it is. Numerous comments, however, have been posted on the limited battery life of the speaker. This can be overcome to some extent by using a mini power bank such as those used to charge smart phones other devices (in situations where an electrical outlet is not available). I was able to extend the play time on on JBL Flip 2 by several hours by connecting the unit to my LUXA2 PL2 6000 mAh power bank via the micro-USB charging port.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Let me put it like this:
+ Amazing sound for it's size + Gets very loud + Nice design, not too flashy, yet cool + Easy pairing + very long wireless range (havent tested how far i can go, but havent had problems until now. The farthest i went was 20 metres and there werent any problems) + Very low weight + Good carrying case, providing save transport
0 (neutral) cant say anything about the durability so far, since im taking good care of it. But it makes a sturdy impression
- The battery life is it's only weak spot. Varies between 4 - 6 hours for me, but i dont mind. Battery life is the first thing i would sacrafice for good sound. And the sound is pretty good indeed
All in all I am very happy with my purchase and many of my friends were also impressed by the gorgeous little speaker. Its a great deal.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Used 3 times, won't charge anymore

The four times it worked were great. Now it won't charge up. Goes through light sequence, then immediately powers down. Very disappointing,

Eight months into my one-year warranty, I am on my third Flip 2, with each replacement taking several weeks. When my warranty expires in three months and my current Flip 2 again needs replacing, I'll be out of luck. The speaker sounds great. I'm disappointed that these issues exist.

Not charging...won't turn on

Received this a gift not even 6 months ago. Used it about a dozen times. It worked great, but the battery never lasted. Now it won't charge at all is now a paper weight. Cannot find any help on how to troubleshoot either.

I'd give this 5 stars because the sounds is awesome, but it will no longer charge. I'm hoping to fix the problem. I've had it about 10 and didn't purchase the warranty. Not sure if it's the USB or needs a new battery. How long should the battery last before it needs to be replaced?
I would recommend this to a friend!

pretty good before the battery gave up

This speaker had pretty good sound, and I really enjoyed it....the battery life was subpar compared to others on the market, but it wasnt horrendous, until it just wouldnt hold a charge anymore. Less than a year and battery wont charge at all, seems like a common problem
