Big sound, compact size

The flip sounds great considering the size of it. Easily portable and easy to pair. I have an iPhone, MacBook Pro and iPod, and they all play and pair with ease.
The phone answering and talk ability are a convenience since you don't have to be near the source to answer the call. Just answer it through the Flip.

Incredible sound!

Bought this for Mother's Day. I like to call it a Fother's Day Gift -- since we BOTH use it --- it was part of her 'other' gifts and a great reason for me to buy one. Sound is awesome - low's come through great - highs are sharp - all instruments are clear in the mix - lasts a LONG time - longer than my phone for hours on a fishing trip.

The little speaker that could!

I have an old wired JBL speaker that uses AA batteries that sounded good and worked well so when I decided to upgrade I went back to JBL. The Flip 2 was my choice and now that it has arrived I am more than impressed. Since I purchased it, just playing music through it has sold 2 more. Very impressive! Keep up the good work JBL!

Decent sound not great range

Very pleased with the volume and sound quality. Decent battery life - seems pretty close to 5-6 hours. As far as range I have a screen porch that is about 10 feet from a bench and bluetooth doesn't work at that distance/though the screen. Also have issues because have my Iphone and Ipod synched to bluetooth/speaker. Couldn't get it to change to Ipod after using my Iphone, even after disconnecting Iphone bluetooth. So not perfect, and have nothing for comparison but overall not sorry I purchased.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband. I t has great sound and just the right amount of bass. Remarkably convenient size. I'mean buying at least 3 more - 1 for me and 2 for gifts.

Great Product at a Great Price

I have used this speaker for the past 3 months and it has excellent sound for playing music from my iPhone, used for a video presentation and I bought it specifically to improve the speaker on my iPhone for group calls. The speaker phone quality is better then the office conference room speaker phones and the mic picks up your voice from anywhere in the room. If I am listening to music and a call comes in, the music mutes and I answer my call. When done, the music un-mutes and back to listening. The quality is excellent and the battery lasts the 5 hours they state. There is a great case for the speaker but one improvement would be adding room in the case for the cord and charger. JBL has made a great product.

Great for cars that don't have audio jacks

I have a 2007 Toyota Matrix which doesn't have an audio jack or Bluetooth. I strap the Flip to my visor with two rubber bands and can listen to my audiobooks from my iPhone on the way to work. Also can be used as a hands free device which is why I strap it right in front of me on the visor. At home I hook it up to my laptop and get great sound playing movies. Great sound!
